It will go into production in US in 2019. It has a range of 500 miles on a single charge. It can tow 36 tonnes. It can go from 0-60 mph in 20 secs under full load (36,287 kg). 

Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk said, "It's not like any truck that you've ever driven." 

Special Features - 

1. Semi has enhanced Auto-Pilot, which comprises of Automatic Emergency Braking, Automatic Lane Keeping, Forward Collision Warning.

2. You can charge it at origin or destination("while loading/unloading your cargo" Elon Musk added), means no more running to Gas-Stations. 

3.It can charge upto 400 miles range in 30 minutes. 

4. It will automatically call ambulance under medical emergencies.

5. It is designed to have low center of gravity, that gives good handling.

6. Semi is provided with Nuclear Explosion Proof Glass.
