What is a Trellis Frame?

Trellis Frame The frame is the skeleton of the bike. The same way as human need the bones, the bike need frame to hold weight. A motorcycle has to hold a lot of weight, body, engine, fuel tank, electronics, rider and pillion. If we look at some bike, they have thick bars frame forged together to bear weight. They are quite heavy and add lot of weight to bike. Solution of a Trellis frame leads to reduction in weight and also able to carry higher capacity loads. This divides load to evenly across all eds of frame. This frame is made using aluminum or alloy tubular bars joint in triangular form using cantilever method,

Facts About Duke 200

200 Duke   Upright and relaxed ergonomics (simply ergonomics means to rider posture). Less of pillion comfort as the pillion seat is small. Doesn't grab that much attention as that of the RC 200.  Built on Trellis Frame. Good for touring as it won't tire out on long rides.  The Duke has a Hooligan nature and maddening acceleration.  Although, you will feel the wind blast at high speeds due to it being a naked bike.  More comfortable for the rider in the city as compared to the RC.

Facts About KTM RC200

RC 200 Not good for touring at all. The seating position will tire you out within a couple of hours of riding.  It is built on same chassis as of Duke. Perfect entry level sportsbike. You can't treat RC as your daily ride. It is a Track focused fully faired bike. It gives a perfect posture for track. For Racers or Speed Lovers ("Raftaar ka Junoon" kinda people), this machine is for you. Definitely an eye-catcher (pretty much attractive). City traffic would leave you with wrist and back aches. (as of my survey).
